An institution built by clinicians, for the wards they staff.
Founded in 2025 by Metro South Medical Center and 44 individual founders. Recognized by the Commission on Higher Education. Located in Bacoor, Cavite — at the heart of CALABARZON's healthcare corridor.
Why a nursing school, and why here.
For two decades, Metro South Medical Center has treated the southern half of Metro Manila and the towns of Cavite that ring the C5-Aguinaldo corridor. In that time, two patterns became impossible to ignore: a chronic nurse shortage on the hospital's own floors, and a steady stream of CALABARZON students forced to commute into Manila for nursing degrees that fail to reflect the conditions they'll actually work in.
Metro South Colleges Inc. was incorporated in 2025 as the institutional answer to both. The school's founding group — Metro South Medical Center plus 44 individual founders, many of them physicians, nurses, and educators with direct ties to the hospital — committed to a single discipline: a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program that treats the bedside as the curriculum's center of gravity.
