About Us

Mission, Vision, and the values we teach by.

What MSCI is for. Who we are accountable to. What we will not compromise on.

Vision

To be the leading institution of nursing education in Southern Metro Manila — recognized for clinical excellence, ethical practice, and graduates who measurably improve patient outcomes.

Mission

Metro South Colleges Inc. educates competent, compassionate, and CHED-compliant Filipino nurses by integrating rigorous academic foundations with embedded clinical practice, community engagement, and outcomes-based instruction.

Core Values

The four virtues we hold our community to.

01

Excellence

Academic and clinical standards are non-negotiable. We measure ourselves against the Board of Nursing — and against the patient.

02

Compassion

The nursing profession exists for the person on the bed. Every course, every rotation reinforces that this is the work.

03

Integrity

Truthful documentation. Honest assessment. The discipline of doing the right thing when no one is watching.

04

Service

Our graduates serve Filipino patients first. The community of Bacoor and CALABARZON is our first responsibility.

Philosophy of Nursing Education

Nursing is learned where nursing is practiced. Our philosophy is outcomes-based, simulation-enhanced, and community-engaged: students rehearse in the lab what they will perform in the ward, and serve in the community before they qualify. We refuse to treat clinical practice as a final-year capstone — it is the spine of every year.

Program Goals & Objectives

  • Produce graduates who pass the Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination on first sitting at rates exceeding the national average.
  • Equip graduates to function as competent staff nurses in any tertiary hospital in the Philippines or abroad on first day of employment.
  • Cultivate community health practitioners who serve LGU and DOH programs in CALABARZON.
  • Develop nurse leaders prepared for clinical instructor, head nurse, and supervisory roles within five years of practice.
