Clinical Training & Practicum
Related Learning Experience (RLE) is built into every professional nursing course. By graduation, every MSCI student has completed CHED-required clinical hours across hospital and community settings.
Related Learning Experience is not a separate course.
RLE hours are embedded as a co-component of every major nursing course. When you take Maternal & Child Nursing, you also do RLE in maternal & child settings. When you take Psychiatric Nursing, you do RLE in psychiatric units. This is how CHED requires it. This is how we deliver it.
Orientation & Observation
Introductory clinical exposure tied to Health Assessment and Fundamentals of Nursing.
Community + MCN
Community Health Nursing and Maternal & Child rotations begin. RLE hours: 6 units.

Intensive Nursing Practicum — Year 4 Capstone
The Year 4 capstone places students full-time in clinical settings under structured supervision. Hospital rotations and community rotations are run as separate practicum courses (PNC 406 and PNC 407), each carrying 6 units. Students are evaluated against CHED's Nursing Core Competency Standards.
